I am a support person for my daughter who was diagnosed with PA and Folate Anaemia in 1994, at the age of 27. Another daughter diagnosed with Hashimotos 2010 but she doesn't have PA.

Sighing

Postby lorikelly » Thu Jan 22, 2009 2:43 pm

I got my B12 jab on Friday (16th Jan) and on that very night was aware for the very first time that I was sighing or taking noticably deeper breaths than usual. I thought that it would settle down as maybe my B12 levels were really low as my jag was due. It is now Thursday, 22nd Jan and I feel that the sighing is getting worse!!!

I have never experienced this before - I have been diagnosed with PA for about two and a half years now. I used to have problems with breathlessness but this has cleared up dramatically since being treated with PA but the sighing is worrrying me as I dont know if something else is causing it. My GP is not very helpful with any of my PA questions - in fact he refused to let me have the flu jab.

Can someone re-assure me? [/list]

I feel like my breathing has improved in the last few weeks..I'm not craving ice or frozen rasberries anymore! So, my iron levels must be going up!! Still have the crappy feeling in my hands and feet. It totally drives me insane. I hate sitting down to rest thats when its the worse.
