Future Research

As in the past, the society will play an active role in research relating to Pernicious Anaemia in the future.

We have currently 4 research proposals being considered by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence and the Health Technology Assessment Programme, and we have provided the Royal College for Paediatrics and Child Health with a review of the problems encountered by children with Pernicious Anaemia, with an aim to them conducting their investigation into PA and the effects it has on children.

The Pernicious Anaemia Society does not currently recieve any government funding. If you have found our website or the society helpful please consider making a donation, no matter how large or small, everything helps.
