The society is collaborating with a team of researchers from a leading University Hospital to carry out research into why many of our members find their symptoms returning before their next three-monthly injection is due.

This is an exciting opportunity to help discover why many of our members experience their original symptoms even though their serum B12 level is higher than the lower threshold used by doctors to determine B12 Deficiency.

Certainly it is this issue that causes so many problems among our members and it is this that generates by far the most telephone requests for help and information to the office of the society.  It is also a world-wide phenomena that often leads to a breakdown in doctor/patient relations.

If you would like to participate please find more information by clicking the links below.  The research begins the first week of November.
