Advise the Government on how to save money

A recent report on the cost of B12 Deficiency in General and Pernicious Anaemia in Particular stated that the cost to the UK economy in misdiagnosis and non-diagnosis is £845million per year. The cost of nurse time in giving Hydroxocobalamin injections is estimated at at least £20million per year.
Perhaps introducing a better diagnostic test and a more patient-centred treatment regime based on the patient's need and not on an antiquated and unreliable Serum B12 test might help the government achieve its cost savings.
What about those of us who live just one month out of every three when on the three monthly injection regime? Hw much more economically active would we be on weekly injections?
